About me

This here on the left that is me - even though you will rarely see me in such advantageous light conditions. What can I say about myself? I am born and grew up. That might be the case for most of us (but not all, you could have considered me an AI). Both happened in Kiel, a lovely town at the Baltic Sea in the North of Germany. After my graduation in "Materials Science" at the Kiel University, I went to Italy. Less so for enjoying the "dolce vita" on the beach, but rather for doing a Ph.D. in metallurgy. Unlike Goethe, it does not inspire me immediately for poetry, but by publishing scientific articles I tasted blood. Some might be weird, like love dedications on the 3D-printing of steel and nickel-titan, but I doubt that they are really entertaining for the very normal reader But the passion of writing was born and with it soon the ambition to create something entertaining.
That is why, apart from technical publications, I write also fiction and prepare every now and then entertaining Web Comics , both you can find on this website. My biggest work so far is the Crazy Colleagues project. Even though, I like humans, this might be difficult to believe, because if you have a closer look, you will see that it focuses on the worst aspects of personalities in daily office life. But whether you believe me or not, I am even thankful: it is them that inspired me to create this work! It is right to say, without them there would be no "Crazy Colleagues" in its present form. So thank you, for all of your little and big defects, beloved colleagues!

In addition, I use my online platform Schadenfreunde" with the aim to support creators of creative contents and offer them and myself a little stage for their works. I created a space calledSchadenfreunde Digital LoftYou can imagine it like a digital exhibition of art of any kind. So far almost 30 artists of different genre and origin have participated. You are kindly invited to have a look so to enjoy further contents from creatives from all around the world. From this website you can also reach their Social Media Account in case that you want to explore more of their works or contact them.

Last but not least I would like to ask for your support - no money - as it is well known that it does not make happy anyone (even though I would be curious to test this hypothesis and offer myself for an experiment), but for your feedback. The hunt for attention might be an inflationary practice in the age of Social Media, but it surely is the most simple way to support creatives. I am happy about any direct feedback, any recension of my output, any participation at my actions and about every comment, sharing, little hand up or heart below my Social Media contributions.
