About Sf.
Why am I here?
You might ask yourself this question while visiting this site. Well, here are a few reasons, you are welcome:
- Less energy consumption due to reduced light emission: For the pleasure of feeling the pain of all who deny the existence of climatic change, this page is merely kept in elegant black. Less emitted lumen, healthier planet!
- A mental pleasure: Schadenfreunde (friends of damage) stands for more pleasure out of the damage that friends gather from the pleasure of damage. A principal knows: Passion prevails over pain with pleasure!
- Schadenfreunde connects what was not meant to be connectedMental wandering paths suck you deeper and deeper in the metaphysical labyrinth, till you ask yourself: May I find a way so deep inside to never get back? If you come so far, you may proudly claim to have become a Schadenfreund!
Did I convince you? Are there any reasons left, for not being here?
- SF – Digital Loft: A digital Loft, in which various creations of international artists are exhibited. Enjoy their masterpieces and get to know them!
- SF-Webcomics: Crazy webcomics with the typical schadenfirendly graphic style. Accompany the cyber monkey alien Flogistron on his journey as influencer on planet earth!
- SF-Autor: Get to know the author and his stories. He published among others:
Crazy Colleagues - Office Satire that makes you think!
Inspiration : An entertaining story about an artist, dependences and passion (only German so far)

The Schadenfreunde-Project
It’s relatively young. Here’s a little about its origins:
In January 2023, I started building this website using YouTube tutorials, following a "learning by doing" and "trial and error" approach. I already had some ideas, like the Loft and the presentation of the Crazy Colleagues chapters, but much of it was still quite anarchic. Some text snippets, originally meant as placeholders, can still be found on the site—simply because I find them kind of cute.
In February 2024, I made Schadenfreunde public—mainly via Instagram. I wasn’t expecting huge success, but when my first call to action only got me about 30 followers, I was a little disappointed. Shortly after, I asked myself: Why should anyone follow me? At that time, there was no real reason, so I had to work hard to create content and find artists willing to participate in the project. I’m especially grateful to the first contributors to the SF Digital Loft—they shared their art when hardly anyone was seeing it on my page. Over the year, the Instagram page grew faster and more steadily. However, while Instagram is a great platform for quickly consuming artwork, it’s not really suited for more complex works. That’s why, towards the end of the year, I turned my focus back to expanding the website.
March 2025—the website opens to everyone. The story of this year is yet to be written… Where will it take us?
The Person beyond Schadenfreunde
is sufficient for now.
